This week's question is...
Have you ever bought a book BECAUSE of a bad review?
Nope. Can't say that I have ever bought a book because it got a bad review. I have bought books regardless if they have gotten a bad review. The main example I can think of is when I bought 'Wings' by Aprilynne Pike. I had read nothing but bad reviews on this book, but I decided to get it because it still appealed to me and I turned out to love it and really look forward to reading the next book. I tend to buy books regardless of their reviews if I am interested in them because I want to be able to make my opinion of them. =D

I've bought books in spite of bad reviews as well, but I admit, usually it's more a case of the bad reviews are what caught my attention the most lol I'm a sucker for punishment and have to see if they're really THAT bad (and yes, usually they are lol)
Thanks for stopping by! Following back on GFC, Linky, and Twitter :)

@The Romanceaholic: LOL, I can't say I'm a sucker for punishment. I tend to get really frustrated if the book is really bad and just start skimming through it. Thanks for the follow back. =D
I loved your blog by the way.
Yeah, I'm with you totally.
Although I didn't like any of Aprillyne Pike's books.
Oh well. :)
Stop by my Follow Friday post!
Yeah usually I read good and bad reviews of a book and bad reviews don't usually persuade me not to buy it. Sometimes a really good bad review will make me want to read it though.

Thanks!
To an extent, I agree. If I have luke warm feelings about a book and the general review consensus is that it's "bad" I won't get it. But if the story intrigues me a lot then I'll get it regardless of the reviews.
Thanks for stopping by
I just checked that one out at the library...hoping I like it!
Thanks for stopping by this weekend!

@Vanya: Oh, I'm sorry that you didn't like any of her books. I loved 'Wings' and look forward to reading the other ones in the series.
@Jennifer: Yea. I definitely enjoy reading a review on a book to get a sense of what I am going into, but I always want to let my own opinion to be the final factor.
@Book Slave: Thanks for stopping by. =D I always love to hear back from returning followers.
@Jenny: Thank you for the follow.
@Lauren0025: That is completely understandable. If I am not completely sold on a book by it's description I will pull out my cell phone to check out its review on goodreads to see what people have to stay. But regardless I will still get it if I really want to read it any ways.
@Ems: I hope you like them. They are easy reads but I rather enjoyed them. They are a different take on an age old tale.
@Shortskie: Thank you so much. I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well. I loved your blog by the way.
@The Brunette Librarian: LOL. If the review was so bad I think I could understand, it just makes one really curious.
@Night Sky Reviews: Thank you so much for the follow.
@Heather: Its always best to go with your gut feelings. Every bodies opinion differ such much. Thanks, I so love hearing from returning followers.
@Sarah: Thank you so much.
@Lu: Thank you, I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well. Even though I will be stuck at work all weekend. =(
@Zareen: Thanks for the follow back.
@The Reading Enchantress: Yea, I usually don't take reviews to seriously, because while I do appreciate them, I still like to make my own decision on books.
@Sch_94: Thank you so much. Following all three was generous of you.
Thank you all for the VERY wonderful comments. I will take a look at all of your FF posts as well and follow back. =D
New LinkyFollower hopping through! I don't know if I ever bought a book solely based on one negative review, but I know that I DID read books because of several negative ratings and reviews. I want to know what the fuss is about, and I want to decide for myself whether or not I agree with all the rants. *g*
Patricia // My FF
@Patricia: I can't say I have gotten a book just to see if it was as bad as some of the negative reviews paint it. I mainly only get books if I want to read them for one reason or another. Thanks for the follow. =D I will check yours out soon.
I like your comment. And I agree with you. :D
But I like to see for my self when a book is good or not. Not because I read a good or a bad review.
