But whenever she sees Aspen standing guard around the palace, and is overcome with memories of the life they planned to share. With the group narrowed down to the Elite, the other girls are even more determined to win Maxon over—and time is running out for America to decide.

Just when America is sure she’s made her choice, a devastating loss makes her question everything again. And while she’s struggling to imagine her future, the violent rebels that are determined to overthrow the monarchy are growing stronger and their plans could destroy her chance at any kind of happy ending.

The Selection Series:

My first reaction to this cover was.... Who's the new girl on the cover? And then as I looked at it closer I realized that it was still America. I guess the red dress that the people at HarperTeen decided to dress the girl in kind of made America's red hair not stick out so much for me. I have to say that I like the second dress a lot more even if I am not really a red fan myself. Of course this cover is just as pretty as the first one. But with it being so similar I don't know if it really popped out at me as much as the first. The pose of the actress seems just as awkward as the first one though, I don't really like the angle of her arm and the look on her face makes her look constipated to me. However, I still can't wait to be able to add this pretty cover to sit next to 'The Selection' on my shelf. While I liked the first book well enough I look forward to seeing where this next one takes us.

Tidal (Watersong #3)
Author: Amanda Hocking
Publisher: St. Martin's Griffin
Release Date: 2013
Page Count: Unknown

The Watersong Series:

Well the third book in this series definitely seem to have a much darker theme to it. While I haven't read this series yet (waiting until they come out in paperback) I do love all the covers. They are all so very gorgeous. But it does seem that most of Amanda Hocking's book covers are all stunning. I can't wait to be able to read them all. =D

What do you all think of these two new book covers?
