Top Ten Tuesday (20)

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Every week they will post a 'Top Ten List' for them and bloggers alike to answer and it's always a different list question to answer.

There is some music below for your enjoyment.

This week's Top Ten to answer is:

Top Ten Books I'm Pining For In 2013

The 'Richelle Mead' List:
because i would read anything by this fabulous woman.

1. The Indigo Spell:
Okay. I admit I haven't even gotten around to reading my copy of The Golden Lily. But I have heard so many amazing things about it, that I already know the next book in this series is going to be even better. Richelle Mead is probaby... NO definitely... my favorite author in the YA genre and even in some Adult books. So I would absolutely read anything that came from this lady.

2. Gameboard of the Gods:
Do I even really need to explain it? It's a NEW series by Richelle Mead. End of story. MUST HAVE NOW!

3. The Fiery Heart:
LOL... I know it doesn't come out until the end of next year. And I still need to make it through both The Golden Lily & The Indigo Spell first. But just the fact that the 4th book in the series comes out the same year as the 3rd book.... Ohhh I can't wait =D.

& all the other must reads for 2013:

4. Uses for Boys by Erica Lorraine Scheidt:
This book just sounds so heartbreakingly sweet that I need to get my hands on it as soon as possible. I have really gotten into Contemporary YA books lately. And this is one that I will definitely be reading for next year.

5. Ink by Amanda Sun:
A book set in Japan and features Japanese Gods.... I need not say any more. This book couldn't get here any faster.

6. Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout:
Oh... My.... Gosh... Becky!!! The cliff hanger on the last book in this series was horrendous. I won't ruin it for anybody that hasn't read Deity yet. But I can't even imagine where this book is going to take us next. Jennifer said something about hell being an interesting place... Oh, she is torturing us with this little pieces of information.

7. The Program by Suzanne Young:
Why??? Because it sounds absolutely interesting and different at the same time.

8. How My Summer Went Up In Flames by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski:
This is about a road trip & re-finding & re-making yourself. And maybe falling in love along the way as well. I absolutely love to travel myself and wish to one day visit all 50 states and live (yes live, not just visit) in all of them as well. So a book about a road trip is just my thing. <3

Well.... I really can't think of any more off the top of my head. It's getting late and I'm starting to fall asleep (had a long day, lol). So I will just make this a list of 8 for now. I know there are a bazillion books that I am unfortunately leaving out & can't wait to read. But it's 3am, so I'm going to call it a night, started to fall asleep while making this list.... lol. Leave your links below, I can't wait to see what all of you are excited to read for next year. =DDD

I have never heard of Ink prior to this post, but now that I have, I want to read it! I love any book that integrates Japanese culture, since I've always been fascinated by Japan.
