Rosie’s always been impulsive. She didn’t intend to set her cheating ex-boyfriend’s car on fire. And she never thought her attempts to make amends could be considered stalking. So when she’s served with a temporary restraining order on the first day of summer vacation, she’s heartbroken—and furious.

To put distance between Rosie and her ex, Rosie’s parents send her on a cross-country road trip with responsible, reliable neighbor Matty and his two friends. Forget freedom of the road, Rosie just wants to hitchhike home and win back her ex. But with every mile marker that passes, Rosie discovers a new sense of self…and that sometimes the best revenge is moving on.

Okay I know this has probably been a pretty popular pick lately. But I couldn't help myself. I have been getting into Contemporary Reads lately and this book is right up my alley. It revolves around a Road Trip that some teenagers take over the Summer and in the process come to re-find themselves and what is most important to them. I have done a lot of traveling over the US, either by Greyhound or Driving myself (I have driven over 1000 miles between the states, relocating, with just me and my dog and I absolutely LOVE to travel). So to actually read a book about a road trip... OHHHH!!! I just can't wait. & not to mention that I absolutely love the cover as well. <3

What are you waiting on? Be sure to leave a comment below with a link back to your W.O.W. so that I can comment back. Hope you all have an amazing day. =D

This sounds interesting, but I usually wind up disappointed with contemporary novels. I hope you enjoy it.

I am a huge fan of contemporaries. I actually read an arc last week and I really enjoyed it. Coast to coast road trip with 3 hot guys. What's not to enjoy? This is a really great book - I hope you enjoy it when you read it.

@Caro: I wasn't much into contemporaries until recently so I know how you feel.

@Kate: It sounds like it will be amazing.

@Missy Frye: I hope I will enjoy it. I know what you mean though. Contemporaries a lot of the time are a hit or miss with me.

@Sandra: Lucky you. Now I am looking forward to it even more. =D
