W.W.W. Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
To play simply answer the questions below:

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

Below you can find some music to listen to while reading this (for you enjoyment).

What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. It is the second book in her Night Huntress series. It's about Cat who is half-vampire/half-human. She hunts down "bad" vampires and kills them. She fell in love with Bones, her vampire bounty hunter teacher. In the 2nd book though it has been 4 years since she left him and has started to work for the CIA after they blackmailed her into leaving him. Now he is back in her life and she has to learn how to deal with the feelings and her love for him that has never fully gone away. Now that there is a price on her head. Bones may be her only salvation. This series is really interesting and I love both Cat and Bones. They are easy to connect with. So I really look forward to continuing this one and the next few books in the series.

What did you recently finish reading?
I recently finished reading Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. This is the first book in the Night Huntress series. This series has me hook. It took me a while to get through this book, but not because it wasn't good. Heck I love the world that Ms. Frost has created for us here. It is one that I can easily become enraptured in. Cat is a feisty woman who doesn't let anyone or anything stand in her way. She knows what she wants and she's willing to fight for it. She may be scared at first (like when she falls for Bones) but she won't let her fear get the best of her. Cat and Bones have great chemistry together, maybe the best I have read about in a book in a long time. I look forward to seeing how this series continues out.

What do you think you'll read next?
Next I am going to try and read XVI by Julia Karr. I have wanted to read this dystopian (coming of age at 16 thriller) for a while now. I haven't really read that many reviews on it, so I don't know what to expect going into it, but I really hope that I will enjoy it. However, ever since I have started to get into Adult Paranormal books, the YA genre hasn't held that much interest for me. LOL... I just think I needed some sexy time to get over all the teen angst, silly drama and love triangles that seem to dominate the YA genre now a days. But I don't think I should find any of these problems in this book. It seems to have an original plot that I will enjoy. So I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is has good as it sounds like it will be. =D

I really loved the first 3 books in the Night Huntress Series and then the 4th one was just filled with so much WTF-ery for me that I haven't touched a book of Frosts since. One day I might check out her Night Huntress spin off series and see how that goes. Just need more time.

My WWW Wednesday is here.
