Teaser Tuesdays (44)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a random page
3. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser this week is...
"A brief moment of peace in the midst of his dark despair. That was what I had wanted, and that was what I had gotten. Was it worth it? I rubbed my fingertips together, still feeling that warmth.

Yes, I decided. Yes, it was worth it."
~Pg. 159, The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead

The question of worth is always rather difficult, but then for love it usually is ;)

A break from despair has to be a good thing, right?

I haven't gotten into this series, but they're on my TBR list. Nice teaser! I love the book cover, too.

@Caro: Love always leaves us with the most difficult questions.

@Karen and Gerard: He didn't needed it after what he had just been through. So it was nice of her to do that for him even though she didn't have to.

@The Writing Rabbit: I've been a fan of this series since the very beginning. Well at least this branch-off from the VA series. I didn't started reading the VA series until all the books were out. Granted when the VA series first came out I wasn't reading that much at the time.

@Marla D.: No worries. I understand about not having the time. I have over 30 books that have been waiting on me for over a year now to start reading them. I really need to get to it and stop getting distracted by the Library... LOL

@LibrarySnake: It is a good series that I enjoy.

@Melissa Owens: Ohhh me neither... LOL of course I still need to read 'The Indigo Spell'. =DD Richelle Mead is my favorite YA author right now.
